  The annual Summit was created in 2011 to endorse U.S. State Department and President Barack Obama's, "100,000 Strong Initiative", to promote in-depth exchange between US- China youth. The first two summits were held in China. In the summers of 2011 and 2012. This year, it will welcome vibrant young minds in Washington, DC.
